| Details:Job Title:Inventory Control Handler Department:3630- General Manufacturing Reporting Relationship:Director of Operations Position Objective:Performs receiving functions and supports manufacturing from receipt to usage. Responsible for accurate inventory count and location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Receive all purchased material and record transactions in computer database.· Physically place in proper storage all materials received on a daily basis.· Record accurately location of materials in storage using computer and/or manual systems.· Pick, kit and deliver required items for production use to meet schedules.· Record all transactions of materials movement confirming ID, count, quality and location.· Cycle count inventory stocks location and resolve discrepancies as directed.· Responsible for housekeeping of inventory stores and surrounding areas.· Package and prepare for shipment materials to be shipped as required.· Maintain incoming quality control data files as required.· Assist purchasing to resolve issues.· Report discrepancies to supervisor immediately.· Other duties as assigned. Decision Making Authority· Placement of materials in storage.· Notification of quality and count to supervisor.· Recommend alternative approaches to optimize objective.· Follow company authorization procedures. | ||||
